Aaron Lee is natural born leader.
The 17-year-old, Grade 12 student at Notre Dame loves to act as a player/coach on the pitch, whether it’s from his natural fullback position or from centre-back.
“I’m a strong defender and very vocal,” the Pelham resident said. “If you come out to watch any of our games or practices, I’m constantly projecting my voice. It is based on playing ability, integrity, sportsmanship, character and contribution to a team or teams at Notre Dame.

So pleased to announce Jose Palma Alfaro as the recipient for our super locker for April! He exudes kindness each and every day! It also gives us a chance to applaud his efforts in giving free English lessons to incoming refugees! Today was a great example as Jose had a chance to visit St. Mary’s Academy in Buffalo, and speak to them about his experiences as a refugee and as a non-English speaker. We are so proud of how you have grown into such an incredible ambassador.

Alexander Boom is the perfect combination of brains and brawn.
The 16-year-old defenceman for the Southern Tier Admirals plays the game with a physical edge and also does well in school at Notre Dame where his grades range between 85 and 90 per cent.
Boom is eligible for the Ontario Hockey League draft next week and is hopeful of being selected, but isn’t overly concerned as his grades give him plenty of other options.
