Nomination Process & Criteria

The selection of the most outstanding athletes, teams, or builders from any era is a challenging one.

Therefore, the Selection Committee has established certain eligibility guidelines. Candidates will be considered for induction only after a 10 year absence from Notre Dame College School.

The Committee welcomes participation and feedback from Notre Dame Alumni, members of the Notre Dame Family, and any other individual in the community.

Nomination categories are as follows:

I. Athlete

The individual's contribution to athletics at Notre Dame College School should be the primary criteria for nomination, since this is an award recognizing a contribution towards Notre Dame. Secondary factors to be considered include the individual's achievements in post secondary and provincial, national and international competitions.

II. Team

The team performance and contribution of the team toward Notre Dame athletics should be the primary criteria for nomination. Secondary factors to be considered are contribution to the community and to sports in general.

III. Builder

This category includes members of the Notre Dame community, such as coaches, administrators and support staff, who have made a significant contribution to athletics at Notre Dame.
